Are you a member of a music band and a student or doctoral student of a Gdańsk school of higher education? Apply for the 'FunFar' Student Band Review. The two best bands have a chance to perform during the Gdańsk Juwenalia on May 17 and 18.

To apply, submit three or four songs in mp3 format, photos, and a band logo. Recruitment for the review runs until May 3 this year, after which up to 12 finalists will be selected to take part in live auditions.

‘FunFar is more than just a competition - it's a platform to support bands who are just beginning their musical journey,’ write the review's organisers. ‘Our aim is not only to raise the spirit of the academic community but also to give students the opportunity to express themselves through art.’

Juwenalia Gdańskie is the largest student event in Tricity. This year, the two-day concert will take place on May 17 and 18. Confirmed artists include Vito Bambino, Gruby Mielzky and JAMAL.

The event is organised, together with the Gdańsk Foundation, by the University of Gdańsk, the Technical University of Gdańsk, the Medical University of Gdańsk, the Jędrzej Śniadecki Academy of Physical Education in Gdańsk, the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, and the Center for Student and Doctoral Student Activity at the University of Gdańsk.
