We encourage UG students to take part in the annual City of Gdansk Project. Summer Internship is an ideal opportunity to take first steps on the road to a professional career and gain practical skills and valuable experience. Often the project is also a chance to gain permanent employment.
The second stage of the Summer Internship 2021 project begins - acceptance of project participants' applications. Almost 240 internship positions, funded by companies and public institutions, are waiting for students and graduates. To participate in the project, simply fill out the application form at wakacyjnystaz.pl by Wednesday, April 28.
The duration of the internship is a minimum of one month - from July to the end of September. The deadline is set individually with the funder of the internship. The winners of the project are guaranteed remuneration in the amount of at least PLN 1,900.00 gross per month of work, taking into account the applicable minimum hourly rate of remuneration or the minimum wage, as specified in the Ordinance of the Council of Ministers of September 15, 2020, on the amount of the minimum wage and the amount of the minimum hourly rate in 2021.
This year, in response to the pandemic situation, there is also the possibility of an online or hybrid internship, during which participants will be able to combine work at the company with remote work.
The Summer Internship allows young people to take first steps on their career path and gain practical skills and valuable experience. Often the project is also a chance to gain permanent employment.
