Leading ranking agency Times Higher Education has published the results of its world subject rankings - the World University Rankings 2025 by subject - for eleven disciplines. The University of Gdańsk was included in all nine rankings where it was possible to apply for a rating.
The University of Gdańsk was ranked among the world's leading universities in the following fields:
- Arts and Humanities (601+)
- Business and Economics (801+)
- Education (601+)
- Law (301+)
- Life Sciences (801-1000)
- Physical Sciences (1001+)
- Psychology (501-600)
- Social Sciences (801-1000)
New in the current edition is the presence of UG in Computer Sciences among the top 801-1000 universities in the world.
The domain rankings of THE WUR by subject use the indicators taken into account in the overall THE World University Rankings, with the difference that they are calibrated according to the specifics of each academic field.
