The University of Gdańsk Library and the community of Special School Complex No. 2 in Gdańsk cordially invite you to an exhibition of paintings, drawings, photographs and functional forms made by students of ZSS No. 2. The exhibition opens on March 11, 2025, at 10 a.m.

As the authors of the works write:

Dear Academia,

We are students of Special School Complex No. 2 in Gdańsk. For several years now, you have been able to find us in the cloakrooms of the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Chemistry, and, since November, also at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, as well as in the Main Library building. We also take part in Christmas fairs at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Thanks to the cooperation between the University of Gdańsk and our school, we can develop our professional skills. During the internship, we learn customer service, develop our interpersonal skills and emotional and social competences. We meet many interesting people who provide us with knowledge and awaken our interest in the world.

We would like to invite you to look at the world through our eyes. We have different interests and talents. Many of us create paintings and drawings, depict the world in photographs, and create various utilitarian forms. We have a choir and a music band at school because we love music and dance. Our theatre prepares moving performances. And we love to cook and bake. We are constantly trying to learn something new.

We would like to thank the entire community of the University of Gdańsk for sharing our creativity. We are deeply moved by the openness and support we have received. Special thanks go to Professor Arnold Kłonczyński, who opened the doors of the Main Library of the University of Gdańsk to us. Thanks to the Professor's support, we were able to organise this exhibition.
