Dear Participants,

Due to the high level of uncertainty about the epidemic situation in Poland, on behalf of the Scientific Council and the Organizing Committee of the 6^th National Young Scientists Conference, I would like to inform you about the following organizational matters:

• scheduled for May 22-23, 2020. The Conference WILL BE HELD in web conference concept (online meeting), using the MS Teams as a tool (Office 365 environment, Microsoft) - unless it turns out that we can restore the original formula of direct participation;
• please follow the latest Conference news at: http://wzr.pl/konferencja_mlodych_naukowcow/ 
• there will be a separate correspondence concerning online access to the Conference. MS Teams is being used in the didactic process at the University of Gdańsk. It proved to be very reliable tool connecting many users at the same time. Moreover, it does not require installation of any additional software (you shall open the conference channel via the link sent by the organizers, launching the conference session in a web browser). Thus, online access to the Conference will be possible for all participants at the same time (the number of participants reached about 100 people representing the most important universities in Poland);
• web conference participation requires computer equipped with camera and microphone, please check the ability to connect with the fastest possible data transmission before the Conference session. It's worth to take care of these issues in advance;
• simultaneously, I would like to add that all submitted articles are regularly sent to external reviews. After that we will send you the comments from the reviewers, so you include them in the final version of the article. Thus, the publishing process, regardless of the epidemic situation - is being implemented according to the schedule;
• scientific monographs are planned to be published within initially assumed date by the University of Gdańsk Publishing House and the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (both publishers are at the first level of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education list – “pierwszy poziom listy MNiSW”).

Your understanding of web conference concept will be much appreciated. Furthermore, I am convinced that conference quality level will not be affected in any way. At the same time, I would like to emphasize that we are planning to invite all participants to Gdańsk later for the scientific seminar - especially dedicated to the participants of Young Scientists Conference 2020. You will be informed later about this event in a separate correspondence.

Despite the situation, I wish you had a chance to spend your time effectively focusing on self-development and scientific research.
