The tenth, jubilee edition of Tricity Brain Awareness Week celebrations take place on 20-22 March 2020. The Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdańsk hosts the activities.
The Tricity Brain Days are a set of popular science events addressed to anyone interested in the topic of brain. The lectures and workshops will help to extend your knowledge of the brain, will show how and where neurobiologists, neurosurgeons and neuropsychologists work and will offer you a chance to experiment yourself.
The Brain Days program offers activities for adults, teenagers and children. Overall, we have prepared over 30 lectures, 100 seminar and laboratory workshops and over 30 workshops at the stands, combined with additional games and competitions.
The Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdańsk is the organizer of the event. The lectures and workshops will be conducted by the University of Gdańsk and Medical University of Gdańsk academics, doctoral students and students, complemented by the outstanding guests representing multiple fields of science where brain is the area of interest.
All events are admission free but certain workshops require previous booking. The pre-bookable workshops (laboratory and seminar) offer almost 2000 audience places.
