Overview:
One of the most popular drama of the legendary French author Eugène’a Ionesco ‘Exit the King’ adapted for the current pop culture reality. Nowadays there is no place for a king, since world is ruled by superheroes, at least in the pop culture universe. Even they however must face the mortality of the human nature. This situation troubles the protagonist of the drama – the eponymous Superhero, who during his prime years used to control forces of nature and saved multiple human lives. Gradually he is starting to lose his powers and fitness, the entire world seems to be falling apart together with him. The entire play is a grotesque theater of the absurd.
