This Saturday join the extraordinary event in Gdańsk Brzeźno  - Ecology picnic for the enthusiasts of Baltic Sea and nature in general.

Numerous attractions have been prepared for the visitors – ECO Wheel of Fortune, large format board game ‘Experience nature’ and many more interactive games and lectures. The field campaign will be held for beachgoers #morzebezplastiku (sea without plastic), we invite whole families to participate – a team must consist of at least three people.

At the picnic there will be information booths dedicated to our Baltic Sea: A tent will be dedicated to biodiversity of the Baltic Sea – meaning what lives in the Baltic Sea and the problem of sea and ocean plastic pollution.

Inside the tent, children will be able to play with coloring books, play games and solve interesting tasks connected to Baltic nature.

Also inside the tent, you will be able to meet Pomorskie family who has a feel for the climate and will tell you how to protect the biodiversity and nature of Pomorskie Region, how to conduct closed loop economy and reasonably use natural resources.

At the tent you will learn the ‘ABC of dunes’. The UG Biological Station employees will tell you what plants grow on sand dunes and what and who constitutes a threat to dunes. You will also be invited to solve the sand-riddle.

The picnic is organized under the “LOTOS Supports Baltic Nature’ Program, in cooperation with Moloteka. The event is financed by LOTOS Group and and Gdańsk Voivodship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
