The meeting will inaugurate the Third Congress of Young Science taking place at the University of Gdańsk from July 6 to 8.

During the discussion, the guests will share their experiences of working on a doctoral thesis. They will talk about the difficulties they encountered and give their perspective. Notably, the guests will represent very different approaches to preparing for a doctoral thesis - including students from doctoral school, doctoral studies, the extramural mode, or those pursuing an implementation doctorate.

We are convinced that the meeting will contribute to the discussion on the education system in Poland, the scientific and professional careers of university graduates, and questions about the prospects for the development of education in Poland and worldwide.

The meeting will take place on July 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in Auditorium S208 in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Admission is free.

The panel will be chaired by mgr Sebastian Barczak, chairman of the UG Doctoral Council.
