Mikołaj Staniul from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Internal Security freshman student received the distinction at the XXI Gdynia Sport Gala in January. He is a member of the AZS Uniwersytet Gdański (Academic Sports Association) sailing unit.

Mikołaj Staniul received the distinction in sailing category. Our student is the current U23 silver medalist and U21 European champion in 49er class category. The crew of Mikołaj Staniul and Jakub Storch finished fourth at the Junior World Sailing Championship.

Those achievements allowed them to enter Team 100 – the best young Polish sportsmen group, prepared by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
