If you are a first-year undergraduate student or a first-, second- or third-year graduate student, and you want to develop your scientific interests under the individual support of an experienced tutor, take part in the project 'Masters of didactics - implementation of the tutoring model in university practice'. The recruitment process lasts until July 2.
Academic tutoring helps to develop a specific area of knowledge, the ability to acquire it independently, teaches the art of using one's own talents and strengthens the student's interests. The process of cooperation is focused on the development of the mentee in the area of academic skills such as writing texts, presentation of knowledge, discussion.
The 'Masters of Didactics' project is intended for students who have above-average achievements and wish to develop their scientific interests. The following criteria will determine eligibility:
- grade point average obtained in the winter semester of the academic year 2020/2021, calculated according to the rules applicable to the application for the Rector's scholarship (if this has not been calculated for you before, please ask the Dean's Office);
- participation in the activities of scientific circles and other similar organisations as well as other achievements of a scientific nature.
Joining the programme gives you the opportunity (for three consecutive semesters of studies) to receive individual support from experienced tutors, 15 hours per semester. Students, already at the recruitment stage and after getting familiar with the profiles of the tutors at the University of Gdańsk, will be able to indicate the one with whom they would like to cooperate.
