Dear Students, Doctoral Students and Staff of the University of Gdańsk

The pandemic situation still requires compliance with all restrictions, including the absolute obligation to wear masks in university buildings. More than a thousand and two hundred employees took the opportunity to get vaccinated against flu and then received the third dose of the vaccine during actions organized by the University of Gdańsk. A significant number did so using population-based vaccinations.

At present we have 23 cases of illnesses among the university employees and 47 people have been sent to quarantine. The level of illnesses and the number of people in quarantine do not indicate the necessity of changing the work mode of the university, that's why the rector-dean's council decided to keep the classes in the current organizational rigor.

We hope that responsible behaviour and following safety rules will enable us to safely prepare for the Christmas/New Year's break and return to the university on January 3, 2022.
