A collection of previously unpublished texts by UG students of film and audiovisual arts was published as an e-book entitled Projekt Szuflada.

Alternator, Academic Cultural Centre of the University of Gdańsk, has several publications to its credit: the academic periodical 'Panoptikum', the student yearbook 'Przezrocze', the anthology 'Proza życia' (created on the occasion of the Literary Competition), a Kashubian translation of Witold Gombrowicz's 'Wedding', poetry volumes by Tadeusz Dąbrowski and Mariusz Więcek.

- 'This group will be joined by another exceptional item - "Projekt Szuflada", i.e. a collection of previously unpublished texts by film students and those which require reflection on audiovisual art,' - announces ACK Alternator.

Twenty-one sections of the publication have been divided according to the names of the authors, presenting their achievements as separate sets - constellations of meanings, scientific and aesthetic discoveries and film experiences. The publication presents the original style and language of the submitted texts, thus emphasising the diversity of approaches, creative workshops and sensitivity of the authors.

- 'Such a publication made it possible to grasp student thought (along with the signs of the times in which they were created), and proved that inspired by film and media culture, it is possible to create projects that are original in content and shape,' - encourages ACK.

In the publication, we will read and see texts, analyses, photos, drawings, conceptual graphics, comics, inspirations, prose and poetry, treatments, scripts, preparation materials for the film, stills from student films, set design photos and other materials related to film studies at the University of Gdańsk.

The Student Event Organisation Team, operating by the Alternator Academic Cultural Centre of the University of Gdańsk, worked on the publication.
