We know the winners of the Professor Małgorzata Czerska competition for the best MA thesis on management, leadership and quality. In this year's edition, no winner was selected, but the award for second place went to Mateusz Buliński for his thesis entitled 'The application of ICT tools in the process of managing a small company on the example of Peer Technology'. The third prize went to Paweł Wierzba for his Master's thesis entitled 'Research on the level of Lean Management culture on the example of a selected organisation'.
On Wednesday, March 23, this year, the Olivia Sky Club at the Olivia Business Centre held a prize-giving ceremony for the winners of Professor Małgorzata Czerska's competition for the best MA thesis in the field of management, leadership and quality.
In the ceremony, in addition to winners and their supervisors, attended among others: Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education Quality UG dr hab. Arnold Kłonczyński, prof. UG; Dean of Faculty of Management UG prof. dr hab. Mirosław Szreder; President of Gdańsk Foundation for Management Education - Ms Jolanta Szydłowska, Vice-President of GFKM dr Mirosław Czapiewski, as well as professors Halina Czubasiewicz and Ryszard Rutka.
The profile of the competition's patron, Jolanta Szydłowska, a long-standing lecturer at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk, was presented by dr hab. Halina Czubasiewicz, prof. UG, and prof. dr hab. Ryszard Rutka.
In this year's edition of the competition, the jury decided not to award the first prize. The second prize of PLN 2.5 thousand was awarded to Mateusz Buliński for his master's thesis entitled 'The application of ICT tools in the process of managing a small company on the example of Peer Technology', prepared under the supervision of dr hab. Mirosław Haffer, prof. UMK.
The third prize of PLN 1 thousand was won by Paweł Wierzba for his Master's thesis entitled 'Research on the level of Lean Management culture on the example of a selected organisation', prepared under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Wiśniewska.
The organiser of the competition and the sponsor of the prizes is Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development (GFKM).
