Dear Academia,
In accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of March 25, 2022, on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the outbreak of an epidemic, the obligation to wear masks at the University of Gdańsk and the regulations concerning proceedings in the event of a decision to send you to isolation or quarantine are abolished. In such cases, you should follow the doctor's decision or the instructions of the Sanitary Inspectorate.

However, with the safety of the members of our academic community in mind, we recommend that you maintain the habit of disinfecting your hands at the entrance to UG buildings and wearing masks in places where there is a large group of people at one time, to limit the spread of coronavirus and other infections during the spring semester.  The organisation of classes in the summer semester remains the same as before, as does the way exams, finals and thesis defences are scheduled.
