'Build your personal brand'. Training for UG students

The next training in the "Student be active!" series is just ahead. This time you will learn why it is worth consciously building a personal brand already during your studies, how to do it and you will analyse possible threats to your image.

On April 26, 2022, from 15:00 to 18:00, in the building at ul. Wita Stwosza 58 (room 132) a training entitled "Build your personal brand" will be held.

Personal branding can bring many benefits. Having a strong and authentic personal brand builds confidence and has a positive impact on career development. If you are wondering whether it is worth starting the adventure with personal branding, come to the workshop. During the meeting, you will learn why it is worth consciously building a personal brand already during your studies, you will get to know the methods and tools that you will use to build a personal brand, you will analyse possible image risks and find solutions to them.

The training will be conducted by mgr Magdalena Iwanowska, from the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Gdańsk - a social psychologist, educator and community activist. A research and didactic worker in the Department of Economic and Organisational Psychology at the University of Gdańsk. She conducts lectures, workshops and training in the field of psychology in the media and marketing and helps others develop social competencies. She conducts research on the impact of media, including social media, on the well-being of adolescents and teenagers. Co-author of the book 'Secrets of Advertising. How advertising affects children and adolescents'. For 15 years, she has been involved with institutions that aim at comprehensive, unconventional and friendly education of children and young people. She supports third sector organisations in the field of communication, brand building and practical use of technology.
