Prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn talks about the requirements for postdoctoral and professorial applications.

Prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn, Chair of the Council for Scientific Excellence, talks about the latest changes in the habilitation process and the requirements for submitting a professorial application as part of the MINDtheGEPs project guides. The UG scientist explains, among other things, who has to write a habilitation exam, how the application review process has changed and when someone is ready to apply for a professorship.

The materials were developed in response to the MINDtheGEPs project's survey of the UG academic community. - 'According to them, many UG staff and employees are still in doubt about what requirements are placed on postdoctoral applicants,' - says prof. dr hab. Ewa Łojkowska, coordinator of MINDtheGEPs.

Similar results were obtained during the knowledge survey on the professorial application, so at the end of the two guides, two scientists considering submitting a postdoctoral application - dr Magdalena Żadkowska and a professorial application - dr hab. Natasza Kosakowska-Berezecka, prof. UG - pose their questions to prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn.
