Prof. UG Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek elected a Member of the Management Board of the Inter-University Center for Informatization

The Inter-University Center for Informatization (MUCI) Board Members, for the 2020-2024 term, were elected at the meeting of MUCI Council on October 23rd. Dr hab. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, prof. UG, Vice Rector for IT Development and Promotion is the newly elected Board Members.

MUCI, located at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, was established by the Conference of Rectors of Universities in Poland (KRUP) in 2001 as a consortium of 14 universities. Currently it has the status of KRUP Commission and is responsible, among other things, for creating, maintaining and developing IT systems supporting university management, including the unification of IT systems for higher education.

- It is a challenge and a great responsibility, because the Management Board does not only have executive functions but also gives directions and designs strategy for Center’s development, plus constantly oversees the work of Commissions, founded by the Council, which conduct development work in the following areas: University Study-Oriented System (USOS), Academic Career Office System, Open Anti-plagiarism System, or Electronic Document Management System (EZD) – says dr hab. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, prof. UG, Vice Rector for IT Development and Promotion.

The Inter-University Centre for Informatization comprises: University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, University of Wroclaw, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, University of Lodz, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, University of Silesia in Katowice, The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, University of Gdansk, Cardinal Wyszynski University in Warsaw, University of Opole, University of Bialystok, University of Szczecin, University of Zielona Gora, Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, University of Rzeszow, Jan Kochanowski University, Pontifical University of John Paul II.

The University of Gdańsk is responsible for the proper operation and growth of the EZD EDU Competence Center.

The EZD EDU Competence Center, currently managed by Agnieszka Krajewska, Deputy Head of the UG IT Center, constantly works to develop and optimize office activities process base at universities. It provides technical and factual support in terms of implementation and use of those activities.
