There will be a change in traffic organisation due to the reconstruction of ul. Bażyńskiego will begin on June 19 this year. The road adjacent to the Oliwa Campus will be closed. The section will introduce one-way traffic (al. Grunwaldzka-> ul. Wita Stwosza). All three entrances to the UG site from ul. Bażyńskiego will be maintained, but access will only be possible from al. Grunwaldzka. The works are scheduled to be completed on July 16, 2023.

The works being carried out by 'WPRD GRAVEL' are to carry out the narrowing of the carriageway, local widening in place of pedestrian crossings, reconstruction of exits and pavements, construction of a technological duct, planting of greenery and lighting of pedestrian crossings.

Due to the reconstruction, the pedestrian crossing behind the McDonald's restaurant, at the level of the Olivia Hall car park, will also be closed on June 19. However, the stop 'Bażyńska 6' will be maintained. Bus lines going in the direction of al. Grunwaldzka will use the designated diversions via ul. Wita Stwosza - Abrahama to al. Grunwaldzka.
