- cultural initiatives - organisation of cultural events, festivals, exhibitions or other undertakings promoting culture.
Dr hab. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, prof. UG - Chancellor of the UG, but also an artist-painter , is the originator of the award.
Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek's painting is an encounter with space. An extraordinary journey through the landscape - both nature and culture, as well as urban architecture. Each painting is a kind of invitation not only to contemplate nature and culture, but also to search for deeper meanings, not necessarily visible at first glance, but which emerge upon more conscious perception and open up to a more multifaceted experience. She is the author of the art project that resulted in the exhibitions SEA EU by the Sea. SEA EU coastal universities in the painting of Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek (October 2022), Images - Linking Coastal Cities by the Sea at the SEA EU Global Congress in Portugal (January 2024) and ... and I was stunned... at the Augustyn Necel Public Library in Kosakowo (October 2024).
As the author says, painting has always been her passion, an important but additional element in her life, often accompanying her during important moments: ‘By painting, I want to convey emotions and give joy with my paintings. In doing so, I convey good energy to people. That's why, when the idea of selling goodies with my paintings in the UG shop came up, I decided without a moment's hesitation that I wanted to donate all my proceeds from the sale to developing the artistic passions of my students and doctoral students. I believe in young people and know that sometimes it takes so little to make dreams come true. A small gesture can be the start of the development of great passions.’
Applications can be sent until 10.01.2025 to email: casid@ug.edu.pl.
