How to shape competencies among students? ‘FarU Quality Day’ this year at UG

1

Cross-cutting and transversal competencies and competence mapping tools will be discussed by experts at the next edition of the ‘FarU Quality Day’ conference. The event will take place on November 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., this time within the walls of the University of Gdansk Library.

Researchers, educators and, above all, enthusiasts from three universities - the Medical University of Gdańsk, the Technical University of Gdańsk and the University of Gdańsk - invite you to participate in a cyclical event dedicated not only to the quality of education but also to competence development and good practice.

The programme includes speeches by representatives of academic staff, students, and Tricity's economic and business environment. Topics such as post-disciplinary education and mapping competencies or qualifications from the employers' perspective will be presented. The interdisciplinary dimension of the event will be emphasised by students who will present the effects of their work in intercollegiate teams awarded in the second edition of the Fahrenheit Collaboration Masters competition.

Participation in the conference is free of charge, but online registration is required:
