We have been operating for two years and it is high time to expand this activity,' said prof. dr hab. Beata Możejko, Director of the Centre for Memling Studies at the University of Gdańsk. The agreement signed on December 6 between the University of Gdańsk and the Centre for Medieval Studies at the Catholic University of Lublin is intended to develop the Centre's activities.

The agreement concerns cooperation in the broadest sense: scientific, organisational or in the organisation of conferences. The activities of the Centre for Medieval Studies of the Catholic University of Lublin have a nationwide dimension. Prof. dr hab. Beata Możejko has high hopes for this: ‘This is the first agreement on the part of the Memling Research Centre, but I hope it will not be the last. We aim to create a network of cooperation, enabling a wide flow of information, joint activities and initiatives.’

The signatories of the agreement were the Vice-Rector for Development and Finance at the University of Gdańsk dr hab. Paweł Antonowicz, prof. UG, and the Director of the Centre for Medieval Studies at the Catholic University of Gdansk prof. dr hab. Paweł Kras, who was also the guest of ‘Friday at the Historic’ in connection with his latest publication on the Hussite trials in Kujawy (1424-1500). The meeting, part of the interests of the Memling Research Centre, was chaired by prof. Beata Możejko.
