Prof. Piotr Stepnowski, Rector of the University of Gdańsk, and Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, have the honour of inviting the academic community to the anniversary performance of ‘The Peasants’ (‘Chłopi’) on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the University of Gdańsk.

The performance of ‘The Peasants’ will take place on 22 March 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Danuta Baduszkowa Music Theatre in Gdynia. The event is part of the official celebrations of the 55th anniversary of the University of Gdańsk and is aimed at all university employees. Each employee is entitled to two tickets for a symbolic fee of 30 PLN per ticket. During the interval of the performance, prof. Piotr Stepnowski, Rector of the University of Gdańsk, will invite everyone to toast with a glass of wine. Each guest will also receive a gift to celebrate the anniversary of the University of Gdańsk.

Registration for the performance will start on 5 March at 9:00 a.m. via the UG electronic booking platform (https://zapisy-prac.ug.edu.pl/index.php). Tickets can be collected from March 12 to 20, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Social Affairs Department, room 226, second floor of the Rectorate building.
