UG's Faculty of Biology, The Gdańsk Zoological Garden and The Gdynia Aquarium invite you to the Night of Biologists i.e. lectures, workshops, and shows presenting modern biology.

The Night of Biologists is all-Poland event, and in the 2020 year will be held on Friday, 10 JANUARY 2020. On this day between 15.00 and 20.00, the new Faculty of Biology building will host many enthralling lectures, shows, and workshops, prepared by students, doctorate students and employees of the Faculty. Only one talk will be in English, and others will be in Polish, but please come - many shows will be in the main hall, and our biologists speak English and without problem s explain to you his studies and experiments.

Employees of the Gdańsk Zoological Garden invite to take part in a night-time walk around the zoo at 17.00, while in Gdynia, from 18.00 employees of the Gdynia Aquarium will be waiting, ready to take you around the Aquarium's nooks and crannies. (These events need booking and will be in Polish).

In Gdańsk Oliwa, in the building Faculty of Biology, we have prepared 58 biology-related subjects, which we are planning to present during 111 events. We have scheduled lectures, film screenings, shows, workshops, educational games, and contests. Guests will be able to take part as listeners or viewers, carry out experiments, visit laboratories and nature exhibitions.
