The project ‘International Academic & Career Integration Centre – developing staff competencies in internationalisation and supporting international students’ has received funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) as part of the Welcome to Poland 2026 programme.
'We have some exciting activities ahead of us, focused on developing the skills of university staff and supporting internationalisation and international students. I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead this project and implement further initiatives. I would like to thank everyone involved in preparing the application,' says the Dean of the Faculty of Management, dr hab. Angelika Kędzierska-Szczepaniak, prof. UG.
Support for the university and the international academic community
The ‘Welcome to Poland’ programme supports administrative, teaching and research staff in developing the skills necessary for collaborating with people from abroad. It also enables the creation and development of support services for students, PhD students, researchers and international staff.
A key element of the programme is providing professional support to participants in international exchanges, taking into account the needs of those with special requirements. The funding also helps to promote Polish institutions as attractive places for education, research and teaching.
These measures are intended to strengthen the internationalisation of Polish universities and enhance their competitiveness on the international stage.
