The scientific article, whose authors include dr inż. Karolina Jagiełło, dr Alicja Mikołajczyk, and prof. dr hab. Tomasz Puzyn from the Laboratory of Environmental Chemoinformatics at the Faculty of Chemistry, UG, was published in the journal 'Materials Today'. The publication entitled 'A computational view on nanomaterial intrinsic and extrinsic features for nanosafety and sustainability' was written by 27 researchers from 13 different scientific institutions.

The article summarises the NanoInformaTIX project carried out under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, headed in UG by dr Alicja Mikołajczyk. The project ended in 2023, and the European Commission highly appreciated its results.

The NanoInfromaTIX project aimed to develop a web-based Sustainable Nanoinformatics Framework (SNF) platform for nanomaterial (ENM) risk management in industrial production. The collaboration lasted four years, involving 36 institutions from 22 countries.

'Materials Today' is a prestigious journal dedicated to publications in the field of materials research. Its Impact Factor is 24.2. 'A computational view on nanomaterial intrinsic and extrinsic features for nanosafety and sustainability' was published on June 20 in open access.
