Another cooperation expands the training offer of the University of Gdańsk! On August 23, 2023, the UG signed an agreement with the Gdańsk District Pharmaceutical Chamber. Under its terms, the parties will cooperate in organising courses and training, postgraduate studies, scientific conferences, symposia and other undertakings.

The cooperation was initiated by the Centre for Courses and Training UG, which is expanding its activities by acquiring new partners. President of the Gdańsk District Pharmaceutical Chamber, mgr. pharm. Michał Pietrzykowski, Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education at the University of Gdańsk, dr hab. Arnold Kłonczyński, prof. UG, and Director of the Centre for Courses and Training UG, dr Piotr Zieliński, participated in the formal signing of the agreement.

'Cooperation with the pharmacy self-government, in particular in the area of training activities, is a vital step concerning the implementation of other forms of education and regarding listening to the needs of the socio-economic environment. The upcoming academic year will bring many training challenges, and I am pleased that the Gdańsk Regional Pharmaceutical Chamber has become our next partner,' states dr Piotr Zieliński.

Last academic year, the University of Gdańsk developed its training offer by, among other things, establishing cooperation agreements with:

• University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk
• Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk
• Gdańsk Court of Appeal
• District Chamber of Nurses and Midwives in Gdańsk
