A voter turnout campaign - we are working together with the City of Gdańsk

Elections to the European Parliament will be held on Sunday, June 9. Today, until 1:00 p.m. in the courtyard in front of the Faculty of Social Sciences, you can change your voting location and collect your voting certificate. This is important information for, among others, students who study in Gdańsk and would like to exercise their right to vote here.

For three days, the Gdańsk City Hall mobile point will appear at the largest universities in Gdańsk. Officials will meet with students in a specially prepared tent in front of the buildings of the respective universities.

  • Monday, June 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in front of the main building of the Gdańsk University of Technology,
  • Tuesday, June 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdańsk,
  • Wednesday, June 5, from 9.:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in front of the Collegium Biomedicum of the Medical University of Gdańsk.

The mobile point at Gdansk universities is one of many pro-frequency activities undertaken by the City Hall. Not only the Gdańsk authorities but also the university authorities are encouraging people to take part in the elections.

‘Taking part in the elections is our privilege, it is our right, but it is also our duty. We are the ones who can decide what Poland will be like, what Europe will be like in the coming years, in the coming decades,' points out the Vice-Rector-elect for Student Affairs UG, dr hab. Urszula Patocka-Sigłowy, prof. UG. ‘Let me refer back to last autumn. To how popular a similar action was at Tricity universities and what a result we achieved. Let's try to make the turnout result in the next elections better than the one in autumn.’
