Postgraduate studies in Real Estate Brokering and Investing and Management of Real Estate and Development Projects are two offers from the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk addressed to those interested in the economic, legal, and technical knowledge necessary to perform the profession of real estate broker or directly invest in the real estate market.
With the development of the real estate market, the demand for its professional services has increased. The development of local markets and further emerging investments make knowledge of real estate brokerage and direct investment in this sector an important asset in the job market.
The Faculty of Management at the UG offers students postgraduate studies in Real Estate Brokerage and Investment, during which it will be possible to gain expert knowledge, both theoretical and practical, necessary to practice the profession of a real estate broker and to invest directly in this area. Classes will be conducted in a hybrid format, online (every fortnight) and in the classroom (min. one session per semester).
‘The need to have the expertise and to critically evaluate it or to recognise the importance of knowledge in problem-solving are just some of the challenges in this work. The work of an intermediary and investing also involves inspecting real estate, analysing documentation and legislation, and analysing the market,’ says dr hab. Anna Wojewnik-Filipkowska, prof. UG from the Department of Investment and Real Estate at the Faculty of Management UG. ‘During the studies, knowledge is imparted on the issues above, additionally expanded with topics related to the basics of valuation, management, IT technology, history of art, or photography.’

The second offer of the Faculty of Management is a postgraduate course called Management of Real Estate and Development Projects. Graduates of this programme will possess comprehensive knowledge and skills relating to the entire real estate life cycle, from investment planning through its implementation, use (management) and disposal of the property. This knowledge will apply to real estate of various uses, including, but not limited to, residential, retail, office, warehouse, or hotel, as well as undeveloped land. It can be used both when making your own investment decisions and when managing corporate assets and municipal and state assets.

The postgraduate studies are aimed at people with a university degree who are or intend to be involved in real estate management, brokerage, development projects or investment in the real estate market. Registration of candidates for the studies mentioned above lasts until September 30 this year.
