The START Programme of the Foundation for Polish Science is Poland’s longest-running scholarship programme for the best young scientists representing all fields of science. Its aim is to support outstanding young scholars and encourage their further scientific development. The winners of the START Programme will receive an annual scholarship of 30,000 PLN.
A total of 807 applications were submitted for this year’s competition.
'It is precisely this new generation of researchers, thanks to their courage in breaking with convention and their interdisciplinary approach, that has the chance to find answers to the key questions of our time. Supporting them at this early stage is not only our privilege, but above all our duty, if we wish to build a society based on knowledge and sound scientific evidence,' says prof. Krzysztof Pyrć, President of the Foundation.
Congratulations to the winners!
