Dr Marek Rewizorski, prof. UG, has been honoured with a commendation in the Polish Society for European Studies (PTSE) competition for the best academic article in the field of European studies published between 2023 and 2025. The commended publication discusses the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine for the development of European Union security.
Prof. Marek Rewizorski examines whether Russian aggression against Ukraine has led to a turning point in strategic European security planning, or whether it has instead revealed an illusion of agency and solidarity within the European Union. The analysis and assessment cover both the EU’s reactive and proactive security measures between 2016 and 2023.
