Researchers from UG at the Starogard Science Festival

I Starogard Science Festival is to bring secondary school pupils and graduates closer to the subject of scientific research conducted in Pomerania. During the event, we will be able to listen to, among others, lectures of scientists from the University of Gdańsk.

Festival of Science organized by the Training and Conference Centre of Muzeum Ziemi Kociewskiej in Starogard Gdański Town Hall will be held from June 7 to 11,2021.

The audience will have a whole range of topics to choose from: from literature and philosophy, neuroscience, business, to tourism, nursing and paramedics. Four scientists from UG will act as speakers:

  • mgr Krystyna Bembennek from the Faculty of Social Sciences with a lecture entitled 'The practical dimension of philosophy: How to achieve happiness?'
  • dr Wojciech Glac from the Faculty of Biology with a lecture entitled 'The brain in cyberspace'
  • dr hab. Mirosława Borzyszkowska, prof. UG from the Faculty of Philology, who will talk about Borderland Literature
  • dr Agnieszka Kiejziewicz with a lecture on travelling in Scandinavia
