At the Polish Academic Fencing Championships, held on June 23 and 24, 2021 in Poznań, the representation of AZS University of Gdańsk did very well. Our athletes won bronze medals in the university classification and sixth place in the general classification.

There were also individual medals, Mateusz Kozak and Karolina Murawska won bronze medals in the universities' classification in fencing.

- 'A place on the podium among universities and a leading position in the general classification is a very good result. It is worth noting that our team achieved success by fielding only competitors in one of the three weapons - foil,' - Piotr Walczak, President of AZS University of Gdańsk summarised the performance.
