Marcin Horała - Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Government Plenipotentiary for the Central Communication Port for Poland - was a guest at another meeting of the 'Our Graduates' series organised by the Political Science Institute of the WNS UG.
Minister Marcin Horała graduated in law and political science from the University of Gdańsk. After graduation, he worked at the Baltic Container Terminal in Gdynia for several years. He served as an expert of the Republican Foundation on local government and maritime economy. In October 2015, he was elected an MP in the Polish Sejm. In November 2019, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed him Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Government Plenipotentiary for the Central Transport Port. On April 15, 2022, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed him Secretary of State in the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. (Source)
Political science students had the opportunity to meet the UG Graduate on March 21, 2023. The Minister gave a lecture on transport infrastructure in Poland and pointed out its historical development and the main determinants of its functioning.
During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to ask questions about transport topics and current issues in Polish politics.
