Award for the best master's thesis using computational chemistry methods

For the thesis entitled. 'Prediction of cytotoxicity of titanium dioxide nanoparticles modified with noble metals using computer methods', mgr. inż. Dawid Falkowski received an award funded by the QSAR Lab company. The award is given annually for the best master's thesis using computer chemistry methods.

The laureate prepared the winning thesis in the Laboratory of Environmental Chemoinformatics, headed by prof. dr hab. Tomasz Puzyn. The scientific supervision was provided by dr Alicja Mikołajczyk. The award will enable the graduate to further their scientific development, expand their knowledge and skills, and gain new experience in the field of computer chemistry.

QSAR Lab was established as a spin-off company of the University of Gdańsk. The company takes care of transferring chemistry from traditional laboratories to virtual space as an alternative to labour-intensive and costly experimental research.
