Open meeting with the Minister for Equality Katarzyna Kotula

This Friday, January 17, the Faculty of Law and Administration of UG will host a lecture by the Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula, combined with an open discussion. The lecture will cover, among other things, good practice and solutions to equality issues.

The event will take place on January 17 at 01:15 p.m. in auditorium C at the UG Faculty of Law and Administration. The first part of the meeting will include a lecture on the general activities of the Ministry for Equality, including the main activities to date and Poland's role in the ongoing Presidency of the European Union.

This will be followed by an open discussion during which questions can be asked.

The meeting is open.

Minister for Equality Katarzyna Kotula

Polish politician, teacher, and social activist. MP for the Sejm of the 9th and 10th parliamentary terms, current Minister for Equality.

On December 12, 2023, the Tenth Sejm elected Katarzyna Kotula as Minister for Equality in Donald Tusk's third government. The following day, she was appointed to the post by Polish President Andrzej Duda.

In January 2024, she was appointed by the President to the Social Dialogue Council.
