The Baltic Tales - a fairy tale competition

'Write and send in your fairy tale, and perhaps it will be used to create a radio play for children,' - encourages the Student Event Organisation Team operating at ACK Alternator. The Baltic Tales competition is addressed to students, PhD students and University of the Third Age students from the University of Gdańsk.

SZOE and ACK Alternator announce a fairy tale competition. - 'Long time spent staring at screens is, unfortunately, unavoidable nowadays, but we can limit it a bit. Therefore, let us prepare together a fairy tale radio play for the youngest,' - announces ACK. To prepare it, a fairy tale will be used - the winning work will be selected from those submitted to the competition. Students, PhD students and GUTW students can take part in it. - 'The project aims to unite generations and stimulate imagination,' announce the organisers.

Entries should use as many elements as possible that can be interpreted audibly and should relate to the theme of the competition. It is also important that the fairy tale should contain separate dialogues, and the whole text should not exceed ten pages. The evaluation of entries will take into account ingenuity, originality, factual value and the presence of features characteristic of a fairy tale as a literary genre.

Applications with the form can be sent to ack@ug.edu.pl by April 2, 2021. The winner will receive a voucher for purchases at Empik shops worth PLN 500.
