Notice on vaccination

To Whom It May Concern,

Thank you for the trust you have placed in us thus far. We work in a dynamically changing environment and therefore the messages we convey are not always clear and precise. We do our best to present you with a message based on facts and our best knowledge.

On March 4, 2021, during a press conference, the Head of KPRM, Minister. Michał Dworczyk communicated the extension of the deadline for the completion of the teachers' vaccinations to March 14, 2021. Therefore, bearing in mind the desire to provide you with the maximum possible level of safety while waiting for vaccination, we need to make changes to the vaccination process for UG employees and PhD students.

Further action will be as follows:

1. For Gdynia and Wejherowo locations

We have entered into discussions with Szpital Pomorski sp. z o.o., the managing entity of St Vincent a Paulo Hospital in Gdynia, Szpital Morski PCK in Gdynia, Florian Ceynowy Specialist Hospital in Wejherowo and Pomeranian Centre for Infectious Diseases and Tuberculosis in Gdańsk to streamline the vaccination process for UG employees and PhD students and to ensure safety. As a result, further activities will be as follows:

1. 1. The hospitals will receive notifications and referrals of UG employees and PhD students on 5.03.2021.

2. The Hospitals, together with UG, will draw up a detailed schedule of vaccinations for UG employees and PhD students taking into account the possibility of ensuring safety in the locations indicated. Therefore, it may happen that the vaccination will take place in a location other than the one you have chosen, but within the Pomeranian Hospitals Ltd. Employees and doctoral students of UG will be informed of this fact by e-mail or text message.

3. Employees and doctoral students of the University of Gdańsk will receive information via text message from the IRK UG address, with the date of administration of the first vaccine dose. The employees and doctoral students will be vaccinated following the established schedule.

2. For the Gdańsk UCK location

Employees and PhD students of the UG will be notified via telephone by UCK about the date of vaccination or they will receive a text message from UCK to the number provided during the application with instructions.

3. For the Amber Expo location

A questionnaire has been distributed to employees and PhD students of UG. Please fill it in and send it back to determine the vaccination schedule.

We would like to inform you that the date of administration of the second dose will be established individually during your visit to the hospital.

We would like to request you from all cooperating hospitals to strictly adhere to the established deadlines.
