The Minister of Science and Higher Education has awarded scholarships for significant academic, artistic, or sporting achievements for the 2025/2026 academic year. Among the 402 scholarship recipients selected from 1,155 candidates whose applications met the formal criteria, as many as seven are studying at the University of Gdańsk! The academic disciplines represented by our students include psychology, biological sciences, linguistics, and medical biology.

As stated on the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s website: ‘An Advisory Panel was appointed to assess applications for scholarships awarded by the Minister responsible for higher education and science to students and outstanding young researchers; the panel comprises experts representing all scientific and artistic disciplines.’
