The Kosciuszko Foundation Poland has been operating since 2010. It supports intellectual, scientific and cultural exchange between Poland and the United States. It also organises cultural events, co-organises trips of scientists and artists on scholarships to the USA, American students to Poland and the Exchange to the U.S. scholarship programme.
The Foundation was created on the initiative of the Board of Directors of The Kosciuszko Foundation Inc. in New York, and it is in cooperation with this American foundation that most of its activities are carried out, seeking inspiring ways to connect Poles with Americans.
Thanks to the Foundation's support, mgr Iwona Flis will conduct a five-month research project in the United States, which will enable her to prepare a monograph devoted to the history of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in America (PIASA).
