III Pomeranian Student Chemistry Symposium

This is the third edition of the students' scientific conference, which aims to increase the scientific potential of young people in science. The 3rd PSSCh is aimed at students, PhD students and young scientists who have already started their scientific research or who want to give presentations of their review research in chemistry, environmental protection and ecology.

On September 18-19, 2021, the Baltic Society of Chemists together with the Research Society of Chemists of the University of Gdansk and the Students' Self-Government Council of the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Gdańsk, organise III Pomeranian Student Symposium on Chemistry (III PSSCh) in the online form on Microsoft Teams platform.

III PSSCh is aimed at students, PhD students and young scientists who have already started their scientific research or who want to present review research presentations (on a popular science topic) in the field of chemistry, environmental protection and ecology. During the event, speakers will be able to present an oral communication as well as a poster - through simultaneous meetings during poster sessions.

Pomeranian Student Symposium on Chemistry will be a good opportunity for young scientists to present their research and a way to return to scientific normality during the epidemiological situation in the country. During the previous edition, young speakers from 20 scientific centres from all over Poland, presented 109 scientific reports.

The symposium is completely free and open to the public - for both active and passive participants. As part of the PSSCh, young speakers (students, PhD students and young scientists) can present the results of their research or a problem in the field of popular science topics.

- 'Bearing in mind the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the safety of both participants and presenters, the third edition will also be conducted remotely via the Microsoft Teams platform,' - say the organisers of the 3rd PSSCh.

At the end of the Symposium, a Book of Abstracts will be created containing abstracts of all the speeches, while participants will receive a certificate attesting to having delivered a paper and participating in the III Pomeranian Student Chemistry Symposium.

More information and registration deadlines can be found on the event website - www.pssch2021.pl
