They started in a modest, friendly group. The pretext for setting up the group was the graduation concert of the choir's founder and current conductor, Beata Borowicz. At the time, the line-up was limited to a group of a dozen or so friends, and the name Non Serio, as they say, seemed adequate for the planned one performance. They recently played their 30+ Jubilee concert, with many achievements to their credit and still new ideas to come.

On October 9, 2021, in the Theatre Hall of the Faculty of Neophilology of the University of Gdańsk, the Jubilee Concert of 30+ Choir of the Faculty of Management Non Serio took place under the direction of conductor and founder of the group, Beata Borowicz. Richly choreographed songs from the Cabaret of Old Men, lively gospel songs, Jewish songs, shadow theatre, dances, stylisations, memories of the choristers and funny narration will surely remain in the memory of the audience for a long time.

The beginnings of the choir date back to 1990. - At that time, in May, in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, a graduation concert of the initiator and present conductor, Beata Borowicz, took place.

- 'In the beginning, the choir was limited to a group of a dozen or so friends. With time, it expanded, and the name began to reflect the atypical, humorous approach to musical matters,' says Beata Borowicz. - 'At present, the ensemble consists of 35 people of various ages, which proves that music unites generations and transcends divisions and differences.'.

The choir of the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk can be heard in a very diverse repertoire of classical, popular, cabaret, church and gospel music, in unaccompanied performances, but also in the company of a symphony orchestra or jazz musicians.

The group has made numerous recordings for discs and television. It has won awards at festivals, including first place at the 4th National Religious Song Festival in Rumia, an award for the best debut and attractive presentation of folk values at the All-Polish Choir Tournament Legnica Cantat 25, second place at the XXX International Festival of Choral Song in Międzyzdroje, Grand Prix of the 1st All-Polish Choir Competition Gospel Camp Meeting in Osiek, first place in the category of Academic Choirs at the All-Polish Choir Tournament LEGNICA CANTAT 28.

The Choir is the initiator of a series of concerts 'Music at the Management'. Fragments of these musical concerts - performances could be heard during the Jubilee Concert 30+, which took place in October this year in the Theatre Hall of the Faculty of Neophilology at the University of Gdańsk. We could hear songs from the cabaret of the Old Gentlemen, love songs, gospel songs and songs from the circle of Jewish music.
