The call for applications under the programme of the Ministry of Education and Science entitled 'Excellent science' has started. Under the programme, universities, research institutes and institutions conducting scientific activity can count on support for scientific conferences (up to PLN 400 thousand) and scientific monographs (up to PLN 80 thousand). The call for applications ends on March 18, 2022.
The subject of the MEiN programme is to support entities of the system of higher education and science and other organisational units acting for the benefit of the dissemination of science in implementing projects aimed at presenting scientific achievements, including the latest results of scientific research or development works, by organising scientific conferences and publishing scientific monographs.
As MEiN informs, the programme consists of two modules: Support for scientific conferences, presenting scientific achievements. And the second one: Support for scientific monographs, within which there will be support for publishing scientific monographs of a high scientific level to introduce the results into national or international circulation and to make these publications available on the Internet, in the mode of open and free access.
To participate in the programme, it is necessary to submit a project: whose duration does not exceed two years, does not include activities financed from other funds coming from the state budget and whose indirect costs do not exceed 10% of the direct costs of the project implementation.
The programme is addressed to universities, research institutes of PAS, PAS, research institutes, international research institutes operating in Poland, Łukasiewicz Centre and institutes operating within the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Polish Academy of Skills, Medical Centre for Postgraduate Education, and other entities conducting independent and continuous scientific activity, as well as other organisational units promoting science.
The amount of funds within the module provided for: Support for scientific conferences ranges from PLN 20 thousand to PLN 400 thousand. And in the module Support for scientific monographs - from PLN 15 thousand to PLN 80 thousand. However, they may not exceed 90% of the total project implementation costs.
The call for applications under the programme runs until March 18, 2022.
