German language at work. Workshop online at the Herder Centre UG

The Herder Centre of the University of Gdansk invites you to a free online workshop to improve your language skills at A2/ B1+ level entitled 'Deutsch am Arbeitsplatz' ('German language at work').

The Herder Centre of the University of Gdańsk - centre for the dissemination of German culture and language invites you to a workshop on March 18, 2022 (Friday), from 17.30 to 19.30 online.

The programme of the workshop includes the following issues: how important education is in a professional career, what tasks and responsibilities an employee has to fulfil, what job satisfaction means, what activities an employee performs at work.

During the workshop, in addition to interesting texts on workplace situations, participants will be invited to actively participate in the exchange of experiences and discussion.

The workshop will be conducted in German by Zbigniew Zembrzuski, a graduate of German Studies at the University of Gdańsk, a DAAD scholarship holder at Kiel University, a former lecturer at the Institute of German Studies at the University of Gdańsk, the head of the Herder Centre at the University of Gdańsk, and a sworn translator of German.

The workshop will be conducted via the zoom.us e-learning platform. To take part in the workshop you will need a completed application form (available on the Herder Centre website), access to a computer with updated software, a webcam and a microphone. The number of participants is limited to max. 15 persons. Participation is determined by the order of e-mail submissions to: herder@ug.edu.pl
