Prof. Leszek Balcerowicz, honorary doctor of the University of Gdańsk, the creator of Polish economic reforms at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, will visit the University of Gdańsk with a guest lecture entitled 'Tantalising and how to counteract it'. The event is open to all interested parties.
On June 7, within the framework of the Academic Forum of the European Financial Congress (EKF 2022) taking place in Sopot, an open guest lecture entitled 'Tantalising and how to counteract it' by prof. Leszek Balcerowicz will be held at the Didactic and Conference Centre of the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk.
The event will start at 7 pm. It is open to all interested parties.
Let us remind, during the celebration of the University of Gdańsk, i.e. on the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of the university, the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski Department was entrusted to prof. Leszek Balcerowicz for the year 2022/23.

Today we are initiating this beautiful academic custom at our University by entrusting the first of three named departments, the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski Department for the 2022/23 academic year, to prof. Leszek Balcerowicz,' - said prof. dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski, Rector of the UG, during his speech in March.
