Long live the science! Join us at the official opening of the academic year in Gdańsk!

A colourful parade and inspiring speeches – let's start the new academic year together!  On September 30, on the initiative of Fahrenheit Union of Universities, Pomeranian universities and local authorities will officially open the 2023/2024 academic year.

A colourful march of the academic community will take place in Gdańsk for the second time – a dozen Pomeranian universities will meet on the last Saturday of September at the Golden Gate. The march along the Royal Route will end in front of Artus Court, where we will hear speeches by local authorities and the representatives of university authorities and students. The march will be enriched by acrobats, the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra and unique carillons playing ‘Gaudeamus Igitur’.

We invite all FahrU academic community members with their families, friends, and acquaintances!  Let's show that science is one of the key drivers for the development of our city and the entire region. It will be an excellent opportunity to integrate the whole academic community!

We also invite residents, tourists, and anyone interested to participate.
