The UG Academic Cultural Centre undertakes activities in 5 main areas: events production; inspiring, sensitising to art and broadening behavioural patterns that enrich students' cultural capital; supporting other UG units in organisational and technical terms; social activities; creating space for compulsory student placements.
ALTERNATOR is the heart of artistic activity at the University of Gdańsk. It offers the opportunity to express oneself and develop one's talent in various fields of art. Music, theatre, dance, film - these are just some areas that can be explored at ACC. The centre aims to create a space for self-creation and an inspiring journey through an ocean of knowledge.

Cultural reSTART
We would like to invite you to a concert inaugurating the new artistic season 'W duszy mi gra... Kayah and Bregović'. A Balkan atmosphere, colourful costumes, excellent performers and much more are a guarantee of time well invested - all the more so as, on the occasion of the inauguration of the season, we provide free entry. October 16, 2023, 6 p.m. in the J. Limon Theatre Hall.
After the concert, the Faculty space will be taken over by SilentDisco; this will be an excellent opportunity to look at the university's architecture from a completely different perspective and redefine its function in relation to cultural events.
In this context, it is also worth seeing the horror film classic, 'Nosferatu. Symphony of Horror'. An evening spent in a gloomy cinema hall, where black-and-white images combined with electrifying music performed live by the duo Emiter & Zulawy will transport the audience into another dimension, will certainly be an interesting experience.
