On Wednesday, February 24, the first in a series on topics related to scientific integrity, a lecture entitled 'Copyright infringement in science - consequences and examples,' will take place.
Prof. dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski, Rector of the University of Gdańsk and dr hab. Sławomir Steinborn, prof. UG, Ombudsman for Scientific Reliability invite for the cycle of lectures. The lectures are aimed at academic teachers and PhD students.
The first lecture of the series entitled Copyright infringement in science - consequences and examples will be conducted by dr hab. n. med. Marek Wroński, prof. of PWSZ in Kalisz.
The lecture is one of a planned series of four lectures:
- Copyright infringement in science - consequences and examples.
- Falsification and fabrication of scientific data. Practice and consequences.
- The concept of self-plagiarism. Types and possible consequences.
- Scientific dishonesty in habilitation and professorship proceedings.
The lecture will take place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 10:00-11:30 on MS Teams platform. A Q&A session is planned after the lecture. If you are interested in attending the lecture, please apply by February 22, 2021, by filling in the form.
