Are you a bachelor's, master's or doctoral student with an innovative idea for strengthening student cooperation in Europe? Would you like to help shape the future of European education from a student perspective? Try your hand at the competition organised by SEA-EU partner universities! The winning projects will receive up to €4,000.
The aim of the initiative is to encourage international teams of students and doctoral candidates to develop original solutions to social challenges in the following areas:
Inclusion, diversity and gender equality policies: The SEA-EU Alliance focuses on increasing the active participation of social groups that are usually under-represented in university life and on raising students' awareness of gender and diversity issues.
Sustainable development and climate equality: The SEA-EU Alliance is aware of the harmful effects of climate change and promotes the exchange of green practices at various levels of university life, from green mobility to green research.
Multilingualism and pluralism: The SEA-EU enhances the effective use of English as the main means of communication within the Alliance, while promoting multilingualism by encouraging respect for and learning of local languages. We are committed to strengthening multilingualism while ensuring the effective use of English as a means of communication, scholarship, teaching and learning within and beyond the Alliance.
Digitalisation and digital forms of cooperation: the Alliance aims to create new ways of digital cooperation between students in research and teaching, sharing tools and platforms between universities, and developing digital competences among students to better prepare them for the challenges of the labour market.
Social entrepreneurship and positive impact on the community/society: The SEA-EU Alliance aims to build bridges between society and local partners to jointly address global challenges. Through innovative approaches such as learning by doing, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, management and entrepreneurial skills.
Before starting the project, please note that the project team must consist of at least two people from different SEA-EU universities, and your project must be supervised by a supervisor who is an employee of the University of Gdańsk. If you are wondering how to find partners from other universities, we encourage you to fill in the participant matching form.
Do you have an idea but are not sure if you can submit it to the competition? Join the information meeting on 12 January from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
