Five foreign accreditations for the University of Gdansk under the POWER Program.

Dr hab. Zbigniew Kaczyński, prof. UG, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry serves as the Project Manager for four Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development projects, which aim at obtaining industry commissions’ foreign certificates and accreditations for the University of Gdańsk, hence improving international competitiveness of the university. The planned accreditations are: Eurobachelor Certification for Chemical Business course of study, Eurobachelor Certification for Chemistry Bachelor Studies, Eurobachelor Certification for Chemistry Masters Studies and Chemistry Doctorate Eurolabel Certification for Chemistry course of studies.

The cumulative budget of the projects is around PLN 100,000.00.

Dr Adam Jagiełło-Rusiłowski from the Faculty of Social Sciences is the Project Manager for Journey to Changemaker Certificate. The J2CC accreditation is an internationally recognized honor, certifying that the receiving party cooperates in a network of universities and institutions, in order to create brighter future together. The J2CC ensures access to various social innovations, like the art of teaching and supporting the necessary skills to develop the implementation of changes. The self-assessment report of the institution will be compiled as a part of the certification process. It will allow delivering the Development Plan with the active support from Ashoki.

The overall project’s budget is around PLN 212,00.00.
